Witch Cunt.: Under The Influence (OR: You Ethics Mean Shit To Me)

asksecularwitch:

witchcuntt:

Go with me on this.

After months and months of job hunting in an economy that seemingly makes hunting for unicorns a more achievable goal than hunting for jobs, you finally land an interview. Prospects either look good, or dismal depending on your situation. But either way, you’re going to make…

There’s only certain circumstances in which I don’t approve ethically or morally to provide spells for others to do [since they can easily find it on their own] or to do myself which is specifically rape spells and a few others.

That came up on my blog, and I just won’t deal with rape spells - sorry. :)

But other types of manipulation, been there done that. I needed people to work on something that they weren’t working on and it affected me down the line. Nope, put them to work. I’m not ashamed.

We all have our limits. Every one of us has our own moral code and guideline which we use when we decide what’s “right” and “wrong”.

That’s my issue with people who say they won’t use manipulation magic. Where does that end and begin? My morals are not yours and shaming folks for doing shit they want to do is bullshit.

Sec and witchcuntt doesn’t do rape spells. Neither do I. That’s our choice. (And, really, if you do a rape spell, you’re a piece of shit and should be persecuted for rape.)

People just need to stop shaming shit and realize that magic is manipulation and each of us make our own decisions on what we will and won’t do. Own up to your shit and accept responsibility when shit goes wrong. That’s part of being an adult and consenting, conscientious person. As far as I’m concerned it should be part of being a witch.
