Reblogging this for signal boost, since I haven’t read any of Penczak’s books (because I heard they were crap). Can any of my followers shed light on the OP’s questions?

I meant to respond to achangingaltar last night but fell asleep instead.

A while back I was looking into new books to buy and saw that Penczak’s work came “recommended”. I went through the available online samples and read some reviews (if I’m not getting the book cheap I damn well make sure I need want that book). A quick trip to a bookstore had me saying “no, no man, no.”

Which doesn’t help anyone at all but there’s my two cents.
