Does anybody else get as offended as I do when somebody refers to my crystals as “rocks”?

Thank god someone else said something because I resisted all day.

They are ‘rocks.’ Some of them have specific ways that they formed and they are called <Such and such> rocks.  > 3 >; /geology.

I was thinking “this is a thing? Is this really a thing?” Because I was pretty sure my geology class said otherwise. I mean, what I remember from it. Which was that I crossed the hedge in a medically drugged state and spend my midterm wandering about the wilds of campus looking for the classroom. (I didn’t find it.) But from I remember rocks are rocks.
