I made another follower milestone yesterday so here’s a greeting post to the new followers out there.
I’m Crown or thiscookedcrown, or Crooked Crown.
I’m a witch. I’m not a Wiccan and I’m not a pagan. I worship no one. I have no gods or spirits. I’m just me. I just do witchcraft. I do a lot of practical magic and I’m a professional witch. It’s my job. It’s literally what I do until I get published. It doesn’t really matter, but I’ve been practicing for 15? No, 16 years now. More than half my life certainly.
In ‘technical’ terms I’m a hard polytheist (I being that gods exist, that there are many of them, and that they are separate beings) animist (I believe that things like trees have spirits) secular (separate from religion) witch. And that’s simplify those terms. I’ve also been called a spirit worker, seer, hedge witch, etc. I’m me and I do shit. That’s about all I got.
I deal with spirits all the time. I like to. Some of those spirits could be considered demons. I don’t tend to work with the dead or with the fae. The fae and I avoid one another (somewhat, some of the spirits I work with could be considered fae) and my brother’s a necromancer so he deals with the dead most of the time.
